Very Berry Cookie Dough Bars
INGREDIENTS:
Base:
-250g rolled oats
-250g dates
-1 tsp cinnamon powder
Berry Frosting:
-175g dates
-2 cups mixed berries (frozen or fresh)
-1 lime (juiced)
Optional: Sprinkled with about 20g of almonds.
DIRECTIONS:
-Put all of the 'base' ingredients into your blender or food processor, blend together until it begins forming a big clump.
-Press this mixture into your baking tray lined with parchment paper. Layer one complete!
-Now place your 'berry frosting' ingredients into your blender or food processor and blend together until smooth.
-Pour this mixture on top of of the base layer. Smooth it out nicely. Then sprinkle on top your chopped nuts.
-Put this into your freezer for 6-8 hours until solid. Then enjoy!
